Handcrafted from an actual Crown Flower (Calotropis gigantea) gathered from our own tropical Gardens in Florida, these earrings preserve the natural elegance and mythic symbolism of one of Hawai‘i’s most beloved blooms. Using the lost wax casting method, each earring captures the organic texture and sculptural form of the original flower — transforming a fleeting blossom into wearable art.

Known in Hawaiian as “Pua Kalaunu,” the Crown Flower holds deep cultural significance. It was said to be a favorite of Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarch of Hawai‘i, who often wore it in her royal lei. Symbolizing royalty, grace, and transformation, this flower embodies strength and serenity — a perfect balance echoed in the detailed metalwork of each handcrafted pair.
