Scarab Beetle Ring

This revvv’d up, handmade,  ring has a beautiful Scarab Beetle that wraps around your finger. The ring has a nice solid tapered band. This is a fairly substantial ring that is very comfortable and fun to wear. Scarab are an Egyptian symbol of resurrection, transformation and protection. Just like the scarab beetle lives among the feces until it discovers its hidden wings. The human soul is also trapped in the physical world (symbolized by the dung ball) until it discovers its ability to fly.

This handmade piece is created using the lost wax casting method. The ring is carved in wax and then cast.
